Operationalizing Product Experience Town Halls
Situation
Product Experience at DocuSign lacked a unifying, inclusive space for sharing wins, surfacing blockers, and reinforcing team culture across disciplines. We had a leadership shakeup and we needed to boost up the morale of the team, including connecting a group of practitioners who had previously been outside of the PX team.
Task
Build a quarterly town hall experience that connects ICs and leadership across design, research, and content strategy—while celebrating impact and reinforcing team goals.
Action
I owned the planning, content curation, and facilitation of PX Town Halls. Each session included storytelling segments, lightning talks, leadership Q&As, and recognition shoutouts. I also gathered feedback post-event and iterated on the format to maximize value and engagement.
Result
PX Town Halls became a beloved and unifying ritual for the org. Attendance grew steadily, feedback scores averaged over 9/10, and the events helped boost morale and visibility—especially among distributed team members. People made reference to the musical themes created by our talented PX folks, jokes, themes and most importantly gathered important takeaways from the work that was being done across the different teams.
